Second Update on Schmid #2

Well, I had my second office visit yesterday. Chris and Simone went with me this time. The PA said that Simone was so adorable! Of course, we've always known that!

From the preganancy journal:

Office Visit (10 weeks)

Date: August 8th, 2005 2:45 pm
Week of Pregnancy: 10 weeks 1 day
Blood Pressure: Normal

Tests/Results: I didn't have to take any tests this month. My thyroid is ok. It's just enlarged but working fine. All of the tests that I took last month came back normal.

My Questions: Is there anything stronger I can take for my Gastritis? Tums is just not working. Yes. I can use Zantac.

Notes from Visit: This visit was short. I didn't need a pap smear or anything. We just looked at the baby to see if it was growing as it should. They unfortunately did the ultrasound transvaginally. It was uncomfortable because they had to wiggle it around to see the baby. We actually saw the baby swimming. It was hilarious. The baby was kicking its little legs and using its little arms. It was amazing!

The Ultrasounds

This is the picture of the baby at 6 weeks and 1 day. It's in between the little white x's.

This is the picture of the baby at 10 weeks and 1 day. I can't believe how much it's grown in a month. I've labeled the picture for you. The baby is upside down. I won't be getting another ultrasound until 18 weeks. Which is in 2 months.

Gastritis equals pain! OWIE!! I don't know what is worse morning sickness or this. I hope this ends soon! I was so sick on Tuesday that I slept from 5:30 Tuesday night to 8:00 Wednesday morning and then I was tired all day! I've been eating Tums like their candy. It sucks.

My next visit is Monday. I still have to get the picture of the baby up on here. I'm going to be getting a new pic on Monday just so that they are for sure on my date. Well, Simone is being a monster. So, I'll be typing on Monday.
